"I'm the best at what I do!"

Kicking off the X-Men line of characters is none other than perhaps the most recognizable character of the team...Wolverine!

As I mentioned before, I've not done any members of the X-Men yet, despite having done two of their villains, Magneto and Mister Sinister, already. Well I decided they were long overdue, so I took up my pencil and produced this beauty! He honestly turned out much better than I dared to imagine! The sketch satisfied me, but after filling in the black and blue parts, I began to fall in love with it. I used three different shades of blue to get the tone you see above and I honestly think I got it spot on! By the time I had finished colouring him, he looked ready to come alive! I'm actually pleased with how this bub turned out, and I don't like to compliment myself a lot so this is certainly something!

I will be continuing with the X-Men line for a little bit and hopefully get round to characters like Cyclops, Phoenix, Nightcrawler, Gambit, Beast, Storm and many more...Maybe not all at once but possibly another two or three before I move on to a character from either the Marvel Knights universe or the Fantastic Four universe...or maybe a quick Spidey villain as there are loads of them I'd love to get done!

Something Sinister this way comes...

I'm back guys after an eventful couple of months. May was full of birthdays and other events that kept me busy, while I spent a couple of weeks in hospital in June. Nothing to worry over though as I'm now fit and getting on with things once again.

So back to drawing, here is one of my favourite villains in the Marvel Universe. Nathaniel Essex, also known as Mister Sinister!
This has been a character I have wanted to draw for a long time and I'm really pleased with how he has turned out. I decided to give him a darker tone to his costume and added in a mix of black to go with his dark blue colour. I felt that it would make him look more...well, sinister!

I have plenty of characters lined up that I'd like to do. I'd like some more Spidey villains and considered the likes of Green Goblin, Mysterio, Doctor Octopus, Electro and Lizard. But I've also noticed I actually haven't done any X-Men yet either so will be looking into bringing in characters like Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Gambit and Jean Grey/Phoenix amongst others. Plus I still have the Fantastic Four characters to do, as well as Marvel Knights like Daredevil, Elektra, Blade, Punisher and Ghost Rider. I think the Avengers have enough for now...

All this to come guys! Gonna be busy, busy, busy!
