I present to you all the finished pic of Captain America! I am really happy with he turned out, considering I didn't know whether to make him holding his shield or have him throwing it. But I have decided I'll have him throwing his shield on the Avengers pic so that it looks like there will some action poses happening in it.

Captain on the bridge!

Hi all!
To celebrate the release of Captain America: The First Avenger, I began work on the Captain America pic like I said I would do. Here is how he is coming along so far. It didn't take as long as Iron Man, Warlock or Spider-Man did but I gotta say I'm still happy with the way he's turning out. I may add a little more detail in but well, we'll see. Will hope to have this pic finished soon, tomorrow hopefully, so keep your eyes out for it!

Suited up and ready for lift off!

May I present the latest pic on Iron Man, now in colour! I used many different shades of colours to try and capture the shiny armour effect that Mr. Stark has, I think it turned out pretty well personally. I think this one is definately up there in my best artwork.

Thanks for your kind comments on the last post Robert. I'll look into trying Adam Warlock again one day. To answer your question about my Apprenticeship, it is on hospitality and I have also took higher levels of Maths and English exams also. I am now just waiting for my final exam which is based on the whole Apprenticeship program and then once that is done, the whole project is finally complete! :)

Right, I shall be looking to hopefully start my next Avenger sketch at some point tonight. But which Avenger you ask?..........It's only gonna be Captain America!

Fresh from Stark Industries...

Hey all! I had a spare bit of time on my hands today and seeing as that is now becoming very rare for me, I decided to make the most of it and make a start on a new pic!

First of all, apologies to Robert but I have decided to put the Warlock pic on hold for the moment. I am finding it quite challenging to draw a pic of him that I like and believe me, the amount of paper I'm going through just for this character is ridiculous. But as I mentioned before, I really want to do the Avengers on their own before I make a start on the Avengers pic itself, so I will continue to work on this now and perhaps come back to Warlock later.

Right! Without further ado, may I present the first in my solo Avengers pics...Iron Man!

Just a quick post to say that I am still around guys and my apologies that I have gone quiet recently.
I was away on family business not long ago but is dealt with now. My current concern is to complete an apprenticeship that I am currently working through. I am close to completion now so once that is done, it will be business as usual and back to work on the drawing :)

Just a quickie...

Hi all, following my recent promise to Robert, I have started work on Warlock. This is the first time I have attempted sketching this character and I have actually found him to be a little bit of a challenge. Anyway, here is a rough sketch of him. I'm not completely happy with it though so I will either look to improve him or I will start it again but try to fit all of him on the page next time.

Let me know your opinions guys and I'll decide what to do with him in the week.

Avengers delayed!

But don't panic, the film is still on schedule! The title is referring to my Avengers pic as I have decided as Robert was the first to request a pic and has even decided to follow my blog (cheers pal), I'm gonna be nice and draw Adam Warlock before I start on the Avengers. Saves waiting until after I've done them til you see it. But any more requests will be done afterwards otherwise I'll never get it done haha.

Hey guys, first time posting on my own blog...it only took me nearly two years :P

But I thought I'd kick it off with some artwork. Here is a sketch of Spider-Man I made. It was for a friend who wants me to make Marvel tattoos for him so this is the first one so far, more to come!

In the meantime, I am thinking of making an Avengers drawing, what with the movie released next year I believe it is a perfect time. Before I do though, I shall be drawing the characters seperately so that I have an idea how to do them for the big piece.
